The Fund for Women and Girls is pleased to announce the recipients of four $10,000 grants, selected by giving circle members in February 2012:
HomeFront – Parenting education focused on preventing family homelessness.
Millhill Child and Family Development Corporation – PEERS Empowerment and Education Program for teenage girls.
PEI Kids – For intergenerational support groups, to be attended by girls who have been sexually abused and their mothers or female caregivers.
RISE – Safe Dates program for girls, designed to prevent dating violence.
