Princeton Area Community Foundation is proud to be a partner with OnePrinceton – the new payment system exclusive to our community. A first for the nation, the new technology boosts the local economy by having businesses channel 1 percent of the purchase price of good and services to a local non-profit organization that the consumer chooses to support.  OnePrinceton links directly to any bank account and allows consumers to make payments with a card or smartphone, working just like a debit card using a PIN for added security. By choosing the Princeton Area Community Foundation, every purchase you make using OnePrinceton will help support our mission and strengthen our community.

OnePrinceton is powered by Heartland Payment Systems, a Fortune 1000 company, and the fifth-largest payment processing company in the U.S. Heartland is based in Princeton with support offices all over the country. Heartland CEO and Chairman Robert O. Carr initiated the program to add a tangible incentive to the “Shop Local” initiative. Carr said, “Now, every time you buy your groceries, clothing, books, toys—whatever you ordinarily buy– you’ll be automatically helping one of the local organizations who do so much to enhance our quality of life.”

As an added bonus OnePrinceton is offering a rebate of up to $100 for the first 1,000 customers to enroll and spend during the holiday season.

Signing up for OnePrinceton is easy to do and there are no fees or charges.  Go to www.oneprinceton.com , and be sure to choose Princeton Area Community Foundation as your non-profit of choice.
