At our Fund for Women and Girls’ annual luncheon and panel discussion we heard about improving the lives of young children and their caregivers.
Here are a four facts we learned from our panelists:

- New Jersey has a high maternal mortality rate
- By the age of 3, low income children have a 30 million word deficit compared to more affluent children
