Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest independent charity evaluator, named us one of “America’s 10 Best Community Foundations.”
The Community Foundations named to the list “are empowering donors, large and small, to make a difference through a number of community-focused initiatives,” according to Charity Navigator. “They are focused on addressing the most pressing issues facing their constituents through creative approaches and innovative programs.”
The Community Foundations were selected based on their performance in the Charity Navigator rating system, which grades nonprofits based on finances and accountability and transparency. All ten Community Foundations received four out of four stars in the rating system.
