Fund for Women and Girls Annual Luncheon
Thriving Women, Thriving Communities: NJ’s Maternal and Infant Mortality Crisis — Why aren’t we getting it right from the start?
New Jersey has one of the highest maternal and infant mortality rates in the U.S. At least 50% of these deaths are preventable. Education is key, both for healthcare professionals and women alike. This document from The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses highlights some key facts around infant mortality that we will discuss further at the luncheon.
Please join the Fund for Women and Girls at our annual luncheon and panel discussion of distinguished experts; we will explore the factors contributing to this crisis and how we can help.
