January 01, 2009
Free Breakfast Seminar for Nonprofits
Topic: Managing in Difficult Times
Description: In this seminar we will provide nonprofit leaders and board members with an opportunity to discuss how various nonprofits have responded to change—for better or worse—and learn from others in the field of nonprofit leadership about how to prepare for and respond to unforeseen changes in the nonprofit landscape.
As the leader of a nonprofit in the 21st century, you know that regardless of whether your organization is new or established, large or small, local, national, or global—there are always factors beyond your control that can impact your organization’s ability to carry out its mission effectively, including:
* Changes in funding
* Economic, demographic and market changes
* Competition from other organizations and other sectors
* Leadership transitions
