Strategic Grantmaking: Creating Impact

This interactive seminar is only open to fundholders and donors.

The Community Foundation has chosen to focus its grantmaking on the complex issue of reducing childhood poverty from birth to age 24. We are also convening, creating partnerships, and listening to our community. In other words, we are approaching grantmaking in a strategic way.

As we prepare to launch our grantmaking strategies in the very near future, we invite you to give us your thinking about how we can create the most impact and advance our work in this focus area.

We’ll also discuss how to apply our learning to your philanthropy, using your donor advised fund to make your grants even more impactful. If creating community impact speaks to you, you won’t want to miss this workshop.

Panelists:

Eleanor Horne, Trustee & Chair, Grants & Programs Committee, Community Foundation

Jeffrey Vega, President & CEO, Community Foundation

Betsy Sands, Trustee – The George H. and Estelle M. Sands Foundation
